I have long thought about changing my name, but never before has it felt so right, so applicable to my current life and situation... and more so, my very vibration!

My current name has been the one I have used for the past 34 years, the one on my Birth Certificate, (my corporation) chosen by my mother and father, the one on my Drivers License, my Passport, etc. and will remain this name on such documents. My "Free Human" name shall now be known as "Shylo <3 Love".

A little history on my old name of Melanie Maureen... My mother chose my middle name based on her middle name... my father chose my first name based on his favourite singer at the time "Melanie Sutka". My mother tells me she would have named me Shylo, so my new name was my mother's first choice.

My given name holds a vibration and meaning, but I no longer resonate with it. I feel it is perhaps a good representation of an older version of me. One that I vibrated to growing up, that I now seem to be at odds with energetically. It actually feels quite opposite to who I am today and what I stand for as a person.

Melanie means Dark
Maureen means Dark
Metzger means Butcher

My maiden name Sales is derived from France and is of royal lineage, however, it also feels very foreign to me at this time of my life.

I have recently begun using the "free market" last name of Love, which feels heavenly...for very obvious reasons, I resonate with this surname and honour it with all my heart and with my path. <3

The name Shylo (generally spelled Shiloh or Shyloh) means Calm and Peaceful. People tell me that I have calming and peaceful energy, so this name resonates with my personality as well as my energy. Also, the fact that the only reason I did not end up with this name was because my father won a bet makes it even more desirable! All things being perfect, I honour my given name Melanie Maureen for the time in my life it resonated, but since I am the creator of my life, my destiny and my future, I also honour my personal power to change my name!

I like to consider myself a "Light Bringer" or "Light Worker" which simply means, I have made it my life's purpose to serve others, to spread awareness, where "Awareness" is "Light". My website: www.Book-of-Light.com is all about "Illuminating Awareness, Unifying Comm-Unity and Creating a New Paradigm on Earth". It is not about "Darkness", which in my world simply means a Lack of Information or a Lack of Light. My name no longer resonates with Darkness...therefore, I no longer wish to be named Dark Dark Butcher!

I hope my dear friends and family will honour my new name of Shylo Love, which resonates with the person you know or are getting to know today, this moment and moving forward. I am so very grateful for the Love and Joy that my life and my friends bring me and felt the need to explain my choice of a name change, to you, my bless'ed loved ones! I will be transitioning over to my new name day by day and will be starting with my profiles such as Facebook...
